Group Mat Classes
When it comes to strengthening the deep core muscles of the body, we believe in the importance of progression so that anyone, at any fitness level, can participate. We follow the Stott method, working from the inside out in order to increase strength of the deep stabilizers for spinal support, work our way out to posture improving muscles and finally to the more superficial muscles to create a longer leaner look. During this full body workout on the mat, we use small equipment to both modify and intensify the workout for the Abs, Butt, Thighs and Back. But it doesn't end there - we also entertain the mind by educating our students about proper anatomical movement while keeping the information light and usable in every day life. So get ready to learn, de-stress and have fun!

Before you take class:

  • We encourage you to sign up for class online which helps secure your spot and allows us to be properly prepared with any props needed. If for some reason you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation online anytime before the start of the class to avoid your punch card being charged.
  • Always sign in on the printed log at the studio upon your arrival.
  • Please remove outdoor shoes before entering the class. For Zumba, Boot Camp or Group Personal Training, please bring in shoes that have not been worn outdoors.
  • We have Yoga & Pilates mats, but if you prefer your own, feel free to bring one.  If using a studio mat, please clean it at the end of class.
  • If attending heated yoga, you may want to bring a towel.
  • Bottled water is sold for $1 at the studio.
  • Inform the instructor of any injuries or limiting conditions.
  • Arrive 10 minutes early for your first class as you will need to sign a fitness informed consent form.
  • Please keep any conversations in the waiting area to a whisper either before or after classes if another class is in session.
  • Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that is easy to stretch in. Loose shirts can get in the way.
  • For the comfort of other attendees who may have allergies, please refrain from strong fragrances.
  • For your own comfort, please do not eat within an hour of coming to the studio.
  • Please turn off all cell phones and beepers and enjoy your time at our studio!
